About Ascend Physical Therapy
Who we are
Ascend Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy clinic serving the Acadiana community. Located in Broussard, Louisiana, we offer a wide range of physical therapy services, including evaluation and treatment of orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, post-surgical care, work-related injuries, and neuromuscular disfunction. Our goal is to help our patients reach their highest possible quality of life through skilled therapy techniques, great customer service, and education on their injury and how to avoid future injury.

We are strategically positioned to serve the communities of Broussard, Youngsville, Lafayette, St. Martin Parish, and Iberia Parish as well as the surrounding areas with easy access from highway 90 and Ambassador Caffery Pkwy.

Christopher W. Hoffpauir, PT, DPT
Owner/ Physical Therapist
Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, Chris earned his bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University in Kinesiology where he was recognized as a University Medalist, a distinction awarded to the graduates from each college maintaining the highest GPA. Upon graduating LSU, he attended physical therapy school at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy in May 2010. Chris immediately began practicing in outpatient physical therapy upon completing his education and has spent the past 16+ years evaluating and treating patients suffering from musculoskeletal and neuromuscular dysfunction, as well as performing functional capacity evaluations on individuals after work related injuries. Chris resides in Lafayette. Louisiana with his wife, Lauren, and their three children William, Annabeth, and Amelie.
